Collection: Surgical Products

Dental surgical products include instruments, guides, and materials used in a variety of dental procedures:

Surgical guides-These guides replicate the patient's mouth and help surgeons drill implants into the bone with accuracy. They use sleeves to guide surgical instruments and implants into place, which can speed up implant surgery.

Dental extraction tools-These tools, such as forceps, elevators, and curettes, help dentists simplify and make extractions less traumatic.

Dental materials-These materials can mimic the appearance of natural teeth and resist abrasion, but they can also be brittle. For example, porcelain can be strengthened by soaking it in molten salt or using alumina inserts.

Other dental surgical products include:

Bone grafts: Used in periodontal surgery to reduce mobility and provide a solid foundation for teeth
Dental implants: Small threaded posts made of titanium or zirconia that are embedded into the jaw to replace missing teeth roots
Biodegradable composites: Made of resorbable bioceramics and biodegradable polymers, these composites can be used for bone substitution and can avoid the need for second surgery
